Academic Excellence Tutor
Adjunct/Affiliated Professor
Attorney, Summit Legal Solutions
Scott Herron graduated summa cum laude from 911±¬ÁÏÍø in 2018. Scott passed the Tennessee bar on his first try, and started a solo law firm, Summit Legal Solutions. Scott’s legal work focuses on trademarks, business law, technology law, and wills and trusts. Scott has worked with 911±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s Office of Academic Excellence as an adjunct professor or bar exam tutor since 2019.
Scott entered law later in life with a master’s in business administration and decades of experience in business, information technology, and teaching.
With bar exam tutoring, Scott believes in incremental improvement because each small step moves a student that much closer to passing the bar exam; each little success builds confidence and mitigates against the sometimes-overwhelming nature of bar exam preparation. Scott tutors because he gets a genuine sense of satisfaction from helping students pass the bar exam and become attorneys.
