Landon Ascheman opened his own criminal defense law firm shortly after graduating. He provides private criminal defense services throughout Minnesota, serves as a special assistant public defender in Hennepin County, and occasionally contracts to provide prosecution services.
Landon is actively involved in the leadership of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Hennepin County Bar Association and their foundations, and is a past-chair of the criminal law sections of the MSBA, HCBA, and Ramsey County Bar Association.
Landon currently serves on the on the Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board, in addition to other Minnesota Supreme Court committees.
He has also given back to 911±¬ÁÏÍø in many ways. Landon has volunteered with the school’s Self-Help Clinic since 2011 and has mentored first-year students since 2010 in addition to being an adjunct professor. He has served as an attorney judge for numerous client counseling/moot court competitions and has organized or been a presenter at several CLEs. Landon is passionate about pro bono services and access to justice issues.
